Mahasiswa dan dosen Universitas Teknokrat Indonesia selama ini dikenal sebagai jago dalam banyak bidang. Banyak kompetisi terkenal bisa dijuarai. Selain juara dalam bidang akademik, robotik, bahasa Inggris,
computer, the best private university student in Sumatra, the Universitas Teknokrat Indonesia, also a champion in the arts. Leyla Purwa Aninditya, who is fondly called Anin, a student of the English Literature Undergraduate Study Program, emerged as the national champion of the 2021 Student Pop Star Singing Contest.
Student Pop Star Competition organized by the Directorate of Student Affairs at the University of Indonesia (UI) on August 16-31 2021, followed by students from public and private universities in Indonesia.
Anin in the Student Pop Star performed a song by the legendary singer Titiek Puspa, entitled “Cinta Putih”.
In participating in this student pop singing competition, Anin was accompanied by Yogie, a keyboard player and also a student of the Universitas Teknokrat Indonesia under the guidance of Rischa Kustiyawati, S.Kom from the Universitas Teknokrat Indonesia student team.
In the 2021 Student Pop Star Competition for the female category, the jury determined:
1st Place Leyla Purwa Aninditya (Universitas Teknokrat Indonesia).
Second Place Love Miranda Tyas (Maranatha Christian University)
3rd Place Feby Tiodora (Riau University).
Hope I Salma Salsabil Aliyyah (Indonesian Art Institute Yogyakarta)
Harapan II Gita Amalia (Indonesian Art Institute Yogyakarta).
Vice Chancellor I for Academic Affairs, Universitas Teknokrat Indonesia, Dr. H. Mahathir Muhammad, SE, MM, appreciated the achievements in the field of vocal art achieved by Anin, a student of the English Literature Study Program.
Anin’s artistic achievements are proof that Universitas Teknokrat Indonesia students are not only champions in academics, robotics, and sports. But the field of art also excels at the international level.
This is also evidenced by the Teknokrat Choir Team, who won the International Championship at the 8th Bali International Choir Festival in July 2019.
Therefore, the Universitas Teknokrat Indonesia campus fully supports and facilitates its students to become champions in various fields.
