Good news came from the Mathematics Education Study Program at the ASEAN Best Campus, Universitas Teknokrat Indonesia (UTI). One of the students, Yuli Santika, won an award at the Journalism Infographics Competition Journalism Festival 2022 held by Universitas Diponegoro from April 15 – to May 29, 2022. The participants in the competition included Universitas Negeri Surabaya, Universitas Brawijaya, Politeknik Negeri Jember, Universitas Diponegoro, and Universitas Padjadjaran.
An infographic that was created by Yuli Santika and her supervisor, Sugama Maskar, S.Pd., M.Pmat. is entitled “IPTEK, Ilmu Pengaruhi Tata Etika Kemanusiaan”. Yuli said that her background in taking the theme was because she felt that the current development of science and technology is an important and inseparable part of the history of human civilization. In addition, the development of science and technology has also directly or indirectly changed the way people interact and in general, changed the way people behave ethically. Therefore, Yuli feels the need to raise this issue so that the ethics and ways of interacting that have been inherited from the past are not completely eroded, but can still exist and coexist with science and technology. In the infographic, Yuli also wrote some of the science and technology that he meant including smartphones, satellites, the internet, television, and even transportation.
Furthermore, apart from the dangers and challenges of science and technology to humanitarian ethics, Yuli also formulated several tips to be able to absorb science and technology so that they can coexist with current humanitarian ethics. The tips include being selective about the influence of advances in science and technology, calculating the impact of the science and technology used, developing general awareness of human values, and directing toward things that benefit human evolution.

Najib Dwi Satria, S.Kom., M.T., said that Universitas Teknokrat Indonesia (UTI) through UTI Student Affairs fully supports the program for developing interests, talents, and reasoning at the Teknokrat Campus. Najib added, therefore this achievement is one proof of the results of a process and is supported by Universitas Teknokrat Indonesia campus through the Student Affairs sector. Najib also gave his appreciation to the Mathematics Education Study Program, Advisors, and students who continue to show commitment and show that the Universitas Teknokrat Indonesia Campus is the campus of the Champion.
