Congratulations to the 14 Best PTS Sumatran Universitas Teknokrat Indonesia Students who passed the Innovation Talent Program. This program is a funding program in the form of incentives to appreciate the output achievements of the Best PTS Sumatran Universitas Teknokrat Indonesia students in order to realize
innovation in the context of increasing the nation’s competitiveness, developing the Independent Learning Campus (MBKM), and accelerating the completion of studies.
The Best PTS Sumatran Universitas Teknokrat Indonesia students who received grants came from various study programs including 4 students who passed the Faculty of Economics and Business, namely from the Management Study Program there were 3 students: Bagoes Alviza Putra, Dea Syafarani, Dina Rahma Safitri; and from the 1 Student Accounting Study Program, namely Ningtyas TS; from the Faculty of Letters and Education 1 person from the English Education Study Program: 1 Student Alfina Adelia Pratiwi. While from the Faculty of Engineering and Computer Science 8 people from the Electrical Engineering study program were 8 students Alif Aji, Darmawan, Aditya Ivan Pradana, Fahmi Aziz, Jeki Irawan, M. Rifky, Trisna Gumellar, Miftahul Chairu Fahmi, Randy Ramadhan, Solihin Sari Piki. Design/prototype of Appropriate Technology Products which is his own work and approved by the supervisor and known by the Head of the Civil Engineering Study Program by 1 student, namely Putri Shakinah Ragilia.

The grants obtained by 14 Universitas Teknokrat Indonesia students are according to the schema table whose grant funds function as follows:
Forms of Learning Activities: research/Research;
Outputs produced: Thesis that is ready to be tested and has been signed by the Advisory Lecturer and recognized by the Head of the Study Program as one of the graduation requirements. The maximum limit for the thesis is to be tested in June and October;
Output Form: Minutes of thesis examination, thesis document, (there must be an acknowledgment to the Directorate General of Higher Education, Research and Technology, Kemendikbudristek); amount of funding: maximum of IDR 5,000,000 (five million rupiah).
Forms of Learning Activities: research/Research; The resulting outputs: Design/prototype of Appropriate Technology Products which are their own work and approved by the supervisor and known by the Head of the Study Program; Outer form: Design/Prototype; Funding amount: maximum Rp. 10,000,000 (ten million rupiah).
On the same occasion, the Vice Chancellor, Dr. H. Mahathir Muhammad, SE., MM. said, students of the Universitas Teknokrat Indonesia must be fostered continuously because Indonesia does need innovation in competing in the global market and at the campus level it should be done without getting bored. This is adjusted to the program launched by the Minister of Education and Culture, Research and Technology of Indonesia, Mr. Nadiem Makarim, this program can trigger innovation from among students, Mahathir believes. Mahathir also wants all students to be able to follow this program well. Hopefully it will motivate students to continue to be able to give birth to innovative ideas/creativity/bright achievements that can solve the nation’s problems and or make the Indonesian nation proud.
The Indonesian Innovation Talent Program which has the aim of supporting the birth of innovative ideas/creativity/bright achievements for students who can help solve the nation’s problems and or make the Indonesian nation proud; and support the acceleration of the completion of student studies in the Bachelor, Master or Doctoral Programs, in the academic and applied fields within the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology.
The Indonesian Innovation Talent Program has the following specific objectives:
