Universitas Teknokrat Indonesia held a period II graduation procession which was attended by 562 graduates at the Dr. Student Center. HM. Nasrallah Yusuf, MBA. local campus on Monday (20/12/2021). The number of graduates for the period I and II in 2021 is 1,062 people, in this period II 526 graduates and officially hold a Bachelor’s degree.
The Graduation event was attended by the Advisor for the Teknokrat Education Foundation, Hj. Hernaini, SS., M.Pd., Chancellor of theUniversitas Teknokrat Indonesia Dr. HM. Nasrullah Yusuf, SE., MBA., Vice Chancellor of the Universitas Teknokrat Indonesia Dr. H. Mahathir Muhammad, SE., MM., Institutional Sub-Coordinator of LLDikti Region II Sobri, SE., M.Sc., members of the senate of the Universitas Teknokrat Indonesia and also UGM Chancellor Prof. Panut Mulyanto online.

At this graduation ceremony, UGM Chancellor Prof. Ir. Panut Mulyono, M.Eng., D.Eng., IPU ASEAN Eng. and as Chair of the Indonesian Chancellor Forum, conveyed his congratulations to all graduates of the Universitas Teknokrat Indonesia Indonesia virtually. “Based on the data, this year’s open unemployment rate has increased compared to last year. Graduates of the Universitas Teknokrat Indonesia must be able to deal with current conditions with competitiveness that is able to be creative and innovate,” said Prof. Panut.
Prof. Panut said he is optimistic that graduates who have the ability to compete in the world of work, or even open up business fields that help employ other people/people. “Graduates are not only intelligent people, but also have to devote knowledge to the benefit of society and improve the nation’s competitiveness,” said Prof. Panut. Prof. Panut really motivates graduates to be able to collaborate with various parties to provide benefits and solutions to various problems in our country’s society.
The Chairperson of LLDikti Region II Prof Yuliansyah represented by Sobri, SE., M.Sc., Institutional Sub-Coordinator said that Higher Education is a Scientific Institution in charge of providing Education and Teaching after secondary education and is the final stage of formal education. Therefore, the role of universities is becoming increasingly important in producing a young generation that is skilled, broad-minded, has personality, discipline and is responsible. Universities must be skilled as agents of change who will be able to make a positive contribution to current and future development efforts and steps.
In this case, universities are required to continuously improve the quality of the implementation of the Tridharma of Higher Education as well as higher education management and educational services. This is reflected in the accreditation ratings obtained by both institutions and study programs. Programs prepared by universities and foundations should be guided by the goals and objectives to be achieved and should be included in the university’s strategic plan. Accreditation is the selling point of a campus both to prospective students, the government, and other institutions in building cooperation. Improving accreditation ratings and maintaining good ones is a must for every college. As for things that need to be considered in order to get a good accreditation rating, among others: curriculum, quality of human resources (lecturers), improving the quality of facilities and infrastructure, research and community service, campus management system.
He continued LLDIKTI Region II which oversees State and private Universities under the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology, has various programs by building applications to facilitate higher education in service, providing assistance in writing scientific papers, preparing professorship levels, preparing research grants for students. lecturers, preparation of textbooks and conference programs both nationally and internationally, and all these programs are free, it’s a shame if the lecturers don’t take advantage of this, said Sobri.
In 2022 LLDIKTI Region II will encourage Universities to develop Campus IT and Digital Marketing as well as improve the quality of higher education institutions such as assistance in the preparation of SPMI documents, assistance in drafting Statutes, and assistance in improving the governance of higher education. And in 2023 the program that has been proclaimed is Academic Quality Improvement, and the programs that will be carried out are assistance in making modules, powerpoint training, and training young lecturers in implementing the Tridharma of Higher Education, said Sobri. It is hoped that in 2024 it will have a good impact on the accreditation ratings obtained, both institutions and higher education study programs that will exist in the LLDIKTI Region II environment, he added.

In his remarks, UTI Chancellor Nasrullah Yusuf said that in 2021 his party had graduated 1062 graduates where the graduation itself was divided into two sessions, the first on 27 October and today 562 graduates. “The total number of our graduates since becoming UTI is 3367 people, where they have only been a university for four years but have many achievements, first the best PTS Sumatral and Sumatra and this year we are the best three.
