The Community Service Activity Program (PKM) Team of the Universitas Teknokrat Indonesia at Assisted School Scheme consisting of lecturers and students provided training management counseling and organization for students, trainers, and also extracurricular coaches at SMA Negeri 1 Rajabasa, South Lampung on March 16, 2022, and March 23, 2022. These activities are arranged in the form of counseling for students who are members of extracurricular activities, coaches, and extracurricular coaches at SMAN1 Rajabasa. The main topic of discussion in the counseling is about coaching management and organizing management in each existing extracurricular. One of the main tasks of a coach is to be a leader for his athletes, Leadership is a “process by which a person can become a leader (leader) through continuous activities so that he can influence those he leads to achieving organizational goals”. Coaches who lead athletes are good outside and inside the field and must always be able to continue to bring athletes following the expected goals. The success of the coach in achieving these goals is strongly influenced by the leadership style which is a leadership model in influencing the group, especially the athletes to achieve the expected achievements.

The guiding lecturer for PKM activities for training management and organizing counseling is Mr. Fedi Ameraldo, S.E.I., M.Ak, a lecturer at the Faculty of Economics and Business, and Rachmi Marsheilla Aguss, M.Pd and Eko Bagus Fahrizqi, M.Pd, lecturers from Faculty of Arts and Education, revealing that the purpose of this PKM activity is to provide insight and experience for students, coaches and also extracurricular coaches in schools and increase motivation for athletes in this case students, coaches and teachers as coaches in improving school quality performance.

This PKM activity was well received by the school. The headmaster of SMA Negeri 1 Rajabasa South Lampung, Saman, S.Pd., said that coaching management counseling and organizational management are very important and useful to increase insight and improve the quality of achievement for all athletes and outstanding students, coaches, and coaches involved in extracurricular activities. “I am very grateful to the Universitas Teknokrat Indonesia for providing this counseling. With this counseling, it opens up horizons for us, the school, and our students to have the motivation to achieve peak achievements.” Extracurricular is an educational activity carried out by students as an extension of curriculum activities and carried out under the guidance of the school to develop the personality, talents, interests, and abilities of students who are broader or beyond the interests developed by the curriculum. In this activity, Saman hopes that the form of cooperation between the Universitas Teknokrat Indonesia and SMA Negeri 1 Rajabas can run sustainably.

On this occasion, the guiding lecturer also thanked the Rector of the Universitas Teknokrat Indonesia, HM. Nasrullah Yusuf, and the Institute for Research and Community Service (LPPM) of the Universitas Teknokrat Indonesia for providing extraordinary support so that this training activity could be realized and carried out properly.
