Universitas Teknokrat Indonesia ASEAN’S Best Private University Certified Internship Students at Bulog

Two students from the ASEAN Best Private University Universitas Teknokrat Indonesia, are included in the Certified Student Internship (PMMB) program this year. PMMB is a Certified Student Internship Program which is a program initiated by the BUMN FHCI (Indonesian Human Capital Forum).

Two UTI students have passed the BUMN internship at Perum BULOG, Lampung Regional Office, having their address at Jl. Cut Mutia No. 29 Bandar Lampung. The students are Krisna Rizki Permady and Sisi Wulandari.

The acceptance of Krisna and Sisi in PMMB cannot be separated from the role of the lecturer. Therefore, he also thanked all the lecturers who had guided him until he was accepted into this program. Krisna Rizki Permady and Sisi Wulandari will carry out this program for six months.

Krisna Rizki Permady Student of S1 Management Study Program, Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Teknokrat Indonesia with a GPA of 3.76 who is active in the Student Executive Board organization. Rizki also hopes that my hope after completing my internship at Bulog is that I can work as a permanent employee at the Bulog company, where the skills I have will be able to provide the best for the company.

Meanwhile Sisi Wulandari is a student with a 3.61 GPA in the Accounting Study Program, FEB UTI. I am also very happy and grateful because I was able to pass the PMMB Batch 1 program in 2022 and was placed at Perum Bulog Lampung for Administration and Finance, in the Accounting section.

Sisi hopes that with this internship program, she will be able to become a superior Human Resource, and be able to apply the knowledge gained during the internship program according to her field, in real work so that it can be a valuable provision to face the real world of industry.

Vice Rector of Universitas Teknokrat Indonesia Dr. H. Mahathir Muhammad, SE, MM, said that two participating Universitas Teknokrat Indonesia students “Thank God, Universitas Teknokrat Indonesia students who became PMMB participants and were accepted by Perum Bulog,” said Mahathir.

Mahathir further said that this program is expected to have an impact on the future of the participating students and have an impact on the achievement of IKU 1 and KPI 2 in Higher Education. Therefore, Universitas Teknokrat Indonesia continues to encourage students to innovate and be active in various activities so that students have the provision to enter the community.

In this program, Krisna Rizki Permady and Sisi Wulandari have passed the selection stage in the certified student internship program (PMMB) on April 2, 2022. For the work carried out, namely doing direct sales at RPK (Rumah Pangam Kita). Here not only serving consumers from the retail side but also serving partners (friends) of Bulog’s RPK, Cheap Market Operations, Basic Needs Cheap Market Operations are activities based on food commodity trading carried out by providers of basic commodities at prices that have received subsidies from the Government. .

During the month of Ramadan, he was also assigned to produce pamphlets containing attractive package promos from Bulog, including: Dates Packages, Nastar Packages, Malbi Packages, Lebaran Packages, Bedug Packages and also Blessing Packages. The activities that are often carried out are mostly creating content on social media, Facebook and also the Instagram of Perum Bulog Divre Lampung.

The benefits obtained in the implementation of PMMB include the experience of working in a BUMN that can be a valuable provision to face the real world of industry, so we can apply the knowledge that has been obtained on the campus of the champion according to his field in real work. In addition, the benefits that can be obtained are industrial certificates and or competency certificates which will later become a support when students have graduated and are looking for work because in the current era it is not only enough to achieve a high GPA but also must be accompanied by expertise and experience. apprenticeship.

This internship program has a very positive impact on students. According to Rizki and Sisi, there are many benefits that can be obtained from this internship, because apart from getting work experience and getting to know the work environment in BUMN agencies, this program can also provide a perspective on the professional world of work, he also has the opportunity to practice the knowledge he has gained during his career. lectures, training skills in the field of accounting, and of course so that they can contribute to state-owned companies later.
