A student of Universitas Teknokrat Indonesia obtained a national achievement in the 2022 National Student Art Week Short Story Writing Competition.
Wahid Kurniawan, an undergraduate student in the English Literature study program, the Faculty of Arts and Education, made Lampung proud by winning the second national prize in the 2022 National Student Art Week Competition held by Bengkulu University.
Wahid is very satisfied with this achievement. This is because the short story writing competition was participated by more than 20 big universities in Indonesia. Wahid became one of the winners with the following list:
1st Place: Bengkulu University
2nd Place: Universitas Teknokrat Indonesia
Third Place: Andalas University, West Sumatra
Competition supervisor and Head of the English Literature Study Program, Suprayogi, SS., M.Hum. was satisfied with the winner Wahid Kurniawan won.
“Hopefully, Wahid’s achievements will motivate and encourage other students to participate in every competition and become champions. Thank you to Universitas Teknokrat Indonesia who always supports and facilitates every competition that students participate in,” he said.
Vice-Rector of Universitas Teknokrat Indonesia, Dr. H Mahathir Muhammad, SE., MM. is very proud of the achievement of the second national winner of the Short Story Writing Competition, which was achieved by Wahid Kurniawan.
“Universitas Teknokrat Indonesia is very proud. This short story writing competition is rarely held. Alhamdulillah, Wahid was able to bring Lampung’s good name to the national level by winning second place. Hopefully, this achievement can motivate other students to like to write, love to read, and like to achieve achievements,” said Mahathir Muhammad.
