The activity was opened by Vice Chancellor III for Student Affairs and Alumni M. Najib Dwi Satria, S.Kom., M.T. The event was attended by 250 participants. In his speech, Najib said, students must also have an entrepreneurial spirit in order to survive and also be able to provide benefits to the community by opening new job opportunities.
He said the younger generation must be able to adapt to the ever-evolving era. Students are expected to be able to generate creative and innovative business ideas and have the courage to start a business.
Ahmad Giri Akbar, Chairman of Hipmi Lampung, said he started a business with a coffee shop and then expanded to open a Kiyo Resto. This proves that the business that is occupied will definitely grow rapidly. Giri said, everyone who wants to start a business must have a mentor. Students who have ideas are expected to be able to apply these ideas into a real business.
Giri said, there are 3 important things that must be owned when doing business, namely a business plan, financial plan, and marketing plan. When doing business, he said, you must implement a financial plan because combining personal money with business money is a mistake that beginners often make who want to get into business.
Sheyla Taradia, owner of BeMee Official, gives tips on becoming an entrepreneur. He said, entrepreneurs must have a perspective that dares to act, dare to act, and take risks. He said, entrepreneurs must be connected. Without connections, entrepreneurs cannot grow and have broad relationships and open opportunities for sustenance.
