The Teaching Practice Program (PPL) is the estuary of all theoretical and practical activities for students who will complete their studies in higher education, especially in the Educational Sciences Study Program. A series of activities are programmed so that students get to know the place where they will work. PPL is given to students to provide and equip prospective teacher students with diverse abilities to carry out tasks, both teaching tasks (teaching) and other educational tasks (non-teaching). This is following the vision of the Educational Sciences Study Program, Faculty of Arts and Education, Universitas Teknokrat Indonesia, namely that graduates become superior educators with international standards.

In 2022, the PPL program will be implemented in 2 districts in Lampung, namely, in Tanggamus Regency, which is spread over 8 schools, and in East Lampung Regency, it is spread over 7 schools, both private and public. 126 students are participating in PPL in 2022 consisting of three educational study programs. Namely sports education, mathematics education, and English education. It has also submitted and approved a memorandum of understanding in the fields of education, research, and community service.

The purpose of this PPL activity is to know carefully the physical, administrative, academic, and social psychological environment of the school where the teaching practice is, master various basic skills of the learning process, apply various professional abilities of teacher training, be able to develop personality and social aspects.

The hope from the school is that these prospective teacher students can carry out all the tasks assigned by their respective tutors according to their specialization, discipline, and responsibility for their duties. The campus hopes that this PPL activity will be able to train prospective teacher students to have the competencies required for a teacher.

The schools where PPL students study English Language Education, Mathematics Education and Sports Education, Faculty of Arts and Education, Universitas Teknokrat Indonesia in Tanggamus and East Lampung districts are: SMA Negeri 1 Semaka, Kota Agung Tanggamus, SMA Negeri 1 Kota Agung Tanggamus, SMA Negeri 2 Kotagung Tanggamus , SMA Muhammadiyah Gisting Tanggamus, SMA Negeri 1 Sumber Rejo Tanggamus, SMA Negeri 1 Talang Padang Tanggamus, SMK Negeri 1 Talang Padang Tanggamus, MAN 1 East Lampung, SMAN 1 Way Jepara, SMAN 1 Sribawono East Lampung, Exemplary High School Way Jepara, East Lampung, Budi Utomo Way Jepara Vocational School in East Lampung, Muhammadiyah 1 Sribawono High School in East Lampung, SMAN 1 Sukoharjo East Lampung, and SMAN 1 Kibang East Lampung.

Vice-Rector of the Universitas Teknokrat Indonesia, Dr. H. Mahathir Muhammad, SE., MM., said the PPL was very important because it became a forum for prospective student educators to apply the knowledge they had acquired. Thank you to the school for accepting PPL students from the Universitas Teknokrat Indonesia. Hopefully, this PPL program can contribute to the PPL school.
