Congratulations, Student of Universitas Teknokrat Indonesia ASEAN’s Best Private University won Best Speaker of Business Base Competition.
Students at Universitas Teknokrat Indonesia at the Awarding Night event, a team named Dino The Champion managed to get an award as the Best Speaker National Champion at the 2022 MANFEST For Business Case with the title of the paper being carried “Repositioning Witrove MSME Development Strategy Through Business-Oriented Human Resource Development Digital”.
MANFEST or Management Festival is an activity held by the Student Association of the Bachelor of Management Study Program at Hayam Wuruk Perbanas University, Surabaya-East Java. This competition aims to train students to be better able to think solutively in the current New Normal Era, where changes occur in units of seconds that are always changing. The current trend is that businesses that are able to adapt will survive and those that are reluctant will be eroded. However, a business to survive in a business must of course keep up with technological developments, especially digitalization of marketing, while at the same time depending on what marketing strategy is chosen.
This competition is a team of active students consisting of three members who come from the same university and are obliged to solve case problems from an MSME who have collaborated with the committee with creative and innovative solutions. This time, the MANFEST for Business Case consists of two rounds, namely the Proposal Case Session and the Presentation of the Case Session, which took place on April 16, 2022.
The S1 Management students at Universitas Teknokrat Indonesia who took part in this competition were Rudi Iqbal Anwar, Shaskia Nurdianti, and Widyantari Dwipa. The supervising lecturer in this activity is Berlintina Permatasari, M.M. and Yusra Fernando, M. Kom.
The selection for this competition begins with registration on March 26, 2022, followed by the announcement of the case on March 29, 2022 and the collection of papers on April 04, 2022. On April 9, 2022, the Dino Sang Champion Team was announced to have made it to the top 10 and was entitled to participate in the paper presentation in the final round on the 16th. April 2022. The presentation was conducted in a Zoom Meeting with competitors including from various public and private universities throughout Indonesia.
The achievements of Universitas Teknokrat Indonesia students or members of the Dino Sang Champion Team are not only that. Rudi Iqbal Anwar as Team Leader has various achievements, including the Chair of the 2021/2022 FEB Teknokrat BEM, Independent Student Exchange Participant, PT Tunas Dwipa Matra Scholarship Winner, and Essay Writing Finalist at the University of Lampung.
Furthermore, Shaskia Nurdianti has several achievements, including Deputy Chairperson of BEM FEB 2021/2022, Secretary General of BEM Universitas Teknokrat Indonesia 2022/2023, Chief Executive of the National Management Business Competition Teknokrat 2021, and 3rd Place at the National Level of Creative Dance at Jakarta State University 2021. Meanwhile, Widyantari Dwipa also has a list of achievements, such as the Secretary of BEM FEB Teknokrat 2021/2022, Participants of the Independent Student Exchange, and 1st Place in the Waste Care Competition at Universitas Teknokrat Indonesia.
Participating in this competition is expected to improve students’ intellectual abilities because it provides a place to learn and compete to be better, even the best. In addition, by participating in this business competition, participants can test the power of ideas from problem solving and compare them with ideas from other teams.
