Universitas Teknokrat Indonesia Strengthens Collaboration with Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia through MoU Signing

Bandung, June 19, 2025 – Universitas Teknokrat Indonesia (UTI) has officially established a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia (UPI) to enhance collaboration in the fields of education, research, and community service.

The MoU signing took place on Thursday, June 19, 2025, at the Rectorate Meeting Room of UPI in Bandung. The UTI delegation was warmly welcomed by the Rector of UPI, Prof. Dr. Didi Sukyadi, SE., MA. along with other university leaders and faculty representatives.

The partnership marks a significant milestone for both institutions in their shared mission to advance higher education in Indonesia. The agreement focuses on joint initiatives such as academic exchange, collaborative research projects, development of innovative teaching practices, and integrated community service programs.

In his remarks, the Rector of UPI expressed strong support for this collaboration, noting that both universities share a commitment to quality education and national development. “We are confident this partnership will generate meaningful contributions, especially in the area of teacher education and educational innovation,” he stated.

Representing UTI, Dr. H. Mahathir Muhammad, the head of the delegation emphasized the strategic importance of this MoU. “This collaboration will open wider opportunities for both institutions to grow through synergized efforts in academic research, student and lecturer exchange, as well as impactful community engagement,” he said.

The signing of this MoU is expected to be followed by the formulation of specific work programs that align with the vision of both universities and contribute to Indonesia’s education and sustainable development goals.

UTI delegates also had a chance to discuss a strategic partnership to develop reserch on electric vehicle, internet of thinhs, and renewable energy with the Faculty of Engineering and Industry, (FPTI) UPI.

The Vice Dean of Academic of FPTI, UPI. Dr. Iwan Kustiawan welcomed and was excited to form a concrete collaboration with Universitas Teknokrat Indonesia and emphasize his willingness to a more further and detailed talk in the following week.
