Student of Universitas Teknokrat Indonesia (UTI) Natasya Ayu Ramadhani made a proud achievement in the sport of Pencak Silat

This time, ASEAN’s best private university Universitas Teknokrat Indonesia managed to win a gold medal for the adult women’s class A competition category at BHARADUTA CHAMPIONSHIP 3 National Championship, Ministry of Youth and Sports of the Republic of Indonesiacup. The National Championship held by Tiger Management and Alumni Diktukba POLRI 2003-II in collaboration with the Ministry of Youth and Sports of the Republic of Indonesia aims to attract the best athletes as well as an effort to support the sport of Pencak silat to enter the world Olympics.

The match was held at Gor Nanggala Jl. Ra. Fadillah, Cijantung, Kec. Pasar Rebo, East Jakarta, DKI Jakarta which will take place on 2-4 September 2022.The student achievement of the Sports Education Study Program, Faculty of Arts and Education, UTI is something to be proud of. Because the championship was attended by 200 participants from various provinces in Indonesia. (*)

Through a WhatsApp conversation, Tasya as she is familiarly called, said that preparations for this national championship began in January 2022. She said that from January she had attended the Training Center aimed at preparing for the matches in 2022, one of which was students sports which Alhamdulillah got the gold medal and can represent UTI to National Sport Students Week event in Padang next November, as well as preparation for the National Championship in collaboration with the Ministry of Youth and Sports.

Tasya considers this national championship to be a test of strength and reading of opponents for the 2022 National Sport Students Week in West Sumatra. According to him, in the current Pencak Silat branch, competition is very tight.

“With the experience of the Bharaduta Championship 3, Ministry of Youth and Sports of the Republic of Indonesiacup, I will train even harder, so that I can give the best for campus at National Sport Students Week next November,” he said.

Vice Rector Dr H Mahathir Muhammad SE MM congratulated on this achievement. He also thanked the mentors who had accompanied him during practice and during the championship.

Mahathir wants the Teknokrat’s archery achievements to be better and become champions continuously.

Mahathir said campuses and foundations are fully committed to supporting all activities attended by representatives from Teknokrat. That way, all Teknokrat delegates get full support so that they can achieve maximum results.
