Nasrullah Yusuf, Chancellor of the Best PTS Sumatran Universitas Teknokrat Indonesia, conveyed his important thoughts on how universities can help research in the field of smart villages. “Real work lectures can be a solution to problems in the region. Universities can be prepared more quickly in a few months to galvanize our students so they don’t rush,” he said.

The Chancellor of the Universitas Teknokrat Indonesia, who has the motto of being quality, disciplined, creative and innovative, explained that creativity is the beginning of innovation in new ways or ideas in solving problems in finding opportunities and this is not easy, if there are new ideas that can be applied to humans, it is called innovation.

“The problem in developing innovation is human resources, facilities, financing, markets, and follow-up to innovation. This is a direct continuation of research that must be considered by the local government as well. Then continue innovation,” he explained. Nasrullah also said that so far his party has supported the Lampung Berjaya program. “From universities, of course, synchronization is needed with the regional government, regency government, and sub-district government. What research is really needed,” he said.

Nasrullah also hopes that Balitbangda will convey what researches are related to the issue to the Lampung Province area. “Hopefully we can continue the latest or existing innovations and develop them, this must be adapted to certain regions in a sustainable manner,” said Nasrullah, who now serves as Deputy Chair of the Advisory Council of the Indonesian Chancellors’ Forum.
