For green areas, said the Rector, Universitas Teknokrat Indonesia allocated 2.5 hectares of land out of a total campus area of 4.5 hectares. This, he said, would be useful for campuses in maintaining the balance of nature, especially by absorbing carbon and clean water as good catchment areas.

Mr. Nasrullah also stated that his campus builds partnerships with many parties to create a green campus. Some time ago ten well-known rectors in Indonesia also visited Universitas Teknokrat Indonesia and planted tree seedlings in this campus area.

The Rector also explained that Universitas Teknokrat Indonesia maximized the existing land at the campus located in the middle of this urban area for green open spaces. The concept of a vertical garden is also used to maximize the existing green space.

In the context of transportation, said Mr. Nasrullah, Universitas Teknokrat Indonesia has also developed environmentally friendly electric-based vehicles. He said, since 2006 his campus has indeed started the electric vehicle business to minimize the use of fuel oil.

Mr. Nasrullah also claimed that a high official from the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology, Dr. Didin Wahidin M.Pd, appreciated the efforts of Universitas Teknokrat Indonesia students to develop motorcycles with environmentally friendly fuel.

Similarly, the use of solar power as a source of electrical energy. Universitas Teknokrat Indonesia started it in 2016.

Mr. Nasrullah added that the campus also encourages the use of bicycles as a means of public transportation by carrying out the Ayo Gowes campaign that has so far been carried out by lecturers and campus management. It is hoped that the community will be actively involved in this movement to protect the environment from pollution.

The Rector hopes that what these technocrats do will be a real contribution to the campus for a greener environment. In addition, Universitas Teknokrat Indonesia also cooperates with Multimedia Nusantara University. The signing was done between the rectors. The two campuses agreed to cooperate in the field of the Freedom Campus Program, research and innovation development in the field of robotics, internship programs, and student exchanges.
