The community service team at the Universitas Teknokrat Indonesia is back in action. This time in Balairejo Village, Kalirejo District, Central Lampung. Duration of service by lecturers at the Universitas Teknokrat Indonesia

lasts for 6 months.

The lecturers who participated in this service were Dr Maidina Astuti Handayani, SE MSI, Dr. Emi Suwarni SE MSi, MSi and Yusra Fernando S. Kom. The lecturers were also assisted by three students.

Dr Maidina said the villagers mostly work in agriculture and animal husbandry. There are also some residents who make batik.

The Teknokrat service team focuses on digital marketing training involving local Youth Organizations. In addition, social media management training, financial management training, and batik product marketing were also provided.

He said the potential of this village will be optimized after the training. He hopes that the teknokrat can help increase the sales turnover of batik and other products produced by the villagers.

In response, Deputy Chancellor I of the Universitas Teknokrat Indonesia Dr. H Mahathir Muhammad SE MM said, digital marketing has indeed become a necessity for those who have businesses.

Marketing in this way is considered capable of targeting a wider market share. In addition, the cost is also affordable.

The condition, he said, was of course to present interesting marketing content.

That’s why, said Mahathir, lecturers and students of Teknokrat were given time to serve in this village. It is hoped that significant progress will be made when the residents have been given training.

Mahathir gave special attention to Karang Taruna. He hopes that the Youth Organizations in the village will be able to become pioneers and movers in the community.

With the training provided, he hopes that Karang Taruna cadres can help digitally market other products from this village.
