Today, Universitas Teknokrat Indonesia is hosting the Regional Innovation Competition for the Final Presentation Selection Phase held by the Lampung Regional Research and Development Agency (Balitbangda). The event was held at the Dr HM Nasrullah Yusuf SE MBA Student Center.
In his remarks, Head of Balitbangda Lampung, Hamartoni Ahadis, said that this competition aims to provide space for all researchers and researchers in the region to be able to develop technology that is easy to apply in the community.
In addition, it is digital-based because it is considered easier for the community and to implement the technology. On that basis, said Hamartoni, this year’s big theme is integrative and digital-based implementation innovation for the sake of Lampung Berjaya.
Hamartoni said that his party opened a wide space for the creations of the nation’s children, especially from Lampung. They can come from students, university students, and even state civil servants.
Hamartoni said he had a dream that ASN could also conduct research and development for applied technology that is easy to apply.
He believes that ASN in Lampung has sufficient competence to design innovative ideas. He also encourages the development of digital-based technology.
“Now is no longer the time for manual ones. We must also adapt to technology. We hope that this regional innovation competition can trigger new ideas whose implementation is easy for the community to use,” said Hamartoni.
He said that it would require a large amount of money if the results of this innovation were to be developed on a wider scale. Therefore, he also encourages synergies from many parties so that future technological discoveries can be made in even more quantities.
“This is also the role of the mass media. With the mass media coverage, many people know that Lampung’s potential is high. We hope from here that collaboration and synergy will be realized. So, innovations in this competition in the future can indeed be produced more and can be used more widely,” he explained.
Meanwhile, the Rector of Universitas Teknokrat Indonesia Dr HM Nasrullah Yusuf SE MBA in his remarks read by the Vice Rector for Student Affairs and Alumni Affairs Muhammad Najib Dwi Satria S. Kom MT said that his party was pleased to be the host of this event. He said that it had been a long time collaborating with Balitbangda Lampung in a similar competition.
