Alumni of Universitas Teknokrat Indonesia work at PLN (Persero) CERTIFICATION CENTER
Alumni of Universitas Teknokrat Indonesia The Best PTS Sumatra, Novian Haris Pratama., S.Kom. from the S1 Information Systems Study Program, Faculty of Engineering and Computer Science (FTIK) has worked at PLN (Persero) CERTIFICATION CENTER, South Jakarta.
Novian, an alumni of the S1 Information Systems Study Program at the Universitas Teknokrat Indonesia, who graduated in 2020, said, “Education at the Universitas Teknokrat Indonesia was one of the best experiences I had and felt, because here I did not only gain knowledge about information technology about the study program that I studied. I just took it but also gained knowledge related to time management to prepare for the world of work, said Novian.
And at this time, the educational knowledge that I got from studying at the Universitas Teknokrat Indonesia, both academic and non-academic, is very useful and I can apply it in the world of work that I am currently working on right now, explained Novian.
“Hopefully, Universitas Teknokrat Indonesia will continue to produce outstanding, integrity, and competent students and alumni so that these students are able to make the champion’s beloved campus alma mater proud and implement what has been learned from the world of education for the community, nation and state,” added Novian.
“When I was studying at the Universitas Teknokrat Indonesia, I participated in the HIMA S1 Information Systems organization, from that organization I learned a lot about student character development, improving student academic achievement and by organizing on campus to increase my confidence,” said Novian.
I work at the PLN Certificate Center for more or less 1 year, I am an SI alumni in 2020. For the job desk, my current job is as a control staff for generating system testing, making reports on test results in the field and in the Lab based on existing samples, for testing there transformer oil, diesel oil, dissolved gas analysis (DGA), coal, exhaust gas, concrete, tube material, and for field testing carried out by external services according to requests from service requesters, for example internal PLN itself throughout Indonesia, if from external service requests non pln only send samples to be tested to our PLN, explained Novian.
The following is an explanation of PLN (Persero) CERTIFICATION CENTER is the Certification Center which is one of the supporting units of PT. PLN (Persero) which has the main task of carrying out certification activities in the electricity sector and has been accredited which includes Certification of Eligibility of Power Plant Installations, Certification of Network Installation Feasibility, Product Certification (SPM/SNI), Quality Management Certification, Environmental Management System Certification, System Certification OHS Management, OHSAS 18001 Certification, Power Plant and Network Commissioning. The main activities of this institution are supported by more than 300 experienced technical personnel from various educational strata and disciplines.
PT PLN (Persero) Certification Center or closer to consumers and stakeholders under the name PLN Pusertif, is one of the supporting units owned by PT PLN (Persero). Our focus as a business unit of the parent company, is specifically carrying out certification activities in the electricity sector. This is where our competence and experience comes in. For this reason, PLN Pusertif has become a reference center for stakeholders in the electricity sector, related to product quality control certification.
Deputy Dean of FTIK Universitas Teknokrat Indonesia Dr. Si. Dedi Darwis, M. Kom. conveyed that FTIK UTI alumni could compete in state-owned companies, he also said that not only at PLN, FTIK alumni have also been accepted for work in multinational and international companies. Meanwhile, the curriculum at the Universitas Teknokrat Indonesia’s FTIK is based on KKNI and Outcome Base Education so that alumni are ready to work, explained Dr. Dedi. (Teknokrat)
