The Indonesian Chancellor’s Forum together with the Universitas Teknokrat Indonesia and Majalengka University held a visit to the 4th Marine Brigade/BS, to celebrate Hero’s Day, Wednesday 10 November 2021.

The Chancellor of the Universitas Teknokrat Indonesiaas well as the Deputy Chair of the Advisory Council of the Indonesian Chancellor’s Forum Dr. HM. Nasrullah Yusuf, SE., MBA. would like to thank the Commander of Brigif 4 Marines/BS Colonel Nawawi, SE., MM. and his staff who have received a visit to celebrate this hero’s day, and gave a great welcome.

According to Nasrullah, this visit is not only to celebrate Hero’s Day, but also as an approach to state defense lessons at the Universitas Teknokrat Indonesia.

Nasrullah advised, on Hero’s Day, we must be able to interpret it by remembering and appreciating the services of the heroes who sacrificed their body and soul for the independence of Indonesia.

“In addition, we must also be able to appreciate the services of other heroes, such as heroes of education. Because our heroes are actually not only heroes of independence but there are many other heroes,” said Nasrullah.

Chancellor of the University of Majalengka Prof. Dr. Ir. H. Sutarman, M., Sc. thanked the Chancellor of the Universitas Teknokrat Indonesia, who had invited Majalengka University to visit Brig. 4 Marines/BS.

He was happy with this visit to be able to see firsthand and stay in touch with Brigif 4 Marines/BS. It has been a long time since Sutarman wanted to be able to see the marines in person, because Sutarman said he was proud of the performances and achievements of the marines.

In addition, Sutarman was also happy with this visit, being able to see and touch the sea. Because Majalengka is an area in Indonesia that does not have a sea.

In addition to the visit, Majalengka University carried out tree planting together with the Universitas Teknokrat Indonesia, within the Universitas Teknokrat Indonesia. The trees planted are the gedong gincu tree and the durian tree.

Planting trees as a form of support from Majalengka University to the University of Indonesia which is one of the green campuses in Indonesia, as well as to celebrate Hero’s Day.

“With this tree planting we have become heroes, namely environmental heroes. I want Majalengka University and Universitas Teknokrat Indonesia to become environmental heroes,” said Sutarman

Commander of the Brigadier 4 Marines/BS Colonel Nawawi, SE., MM. said he thanked the Chancellor of the Universitas Teknokrat Indonesia and Majalengka University for making this visit.

According to him, this visit was due to the good relationship between the Universitas Teknokrat Indonesia and Brigif 4 Marines/BS. One form of good relations is that several personnel of the 4th Marine Brigade/BS participated in several trainings at the Universitas Teknokrat Indonesia such as English, computers, information technology, video editing and drone flight training.

“We hope that in the future there will be cooperation with Majalengka University. We have actually been to Majalengka several times. But we have never been to the campus,” said Nawawi.

Brigadier 4 Mar/BS Operations Staff Officer Lt. Col. (Lt. Col.) Marines James Munthe added that the visit of the Indonesian Chancellor Forum was an honor and pride for Brigadier 4 Mar/BS. Because this is the first time the Indonesian Chancellor’s Forum has made a visit.
