Webometrics Confirms The 1st Best Private University in Sumatra Is The Universitas Teknokrat Indonesia

The ranking of the Universitas Teknokrat Indonesia continues to soar. The institution led by Dr. HM. Nasrullah Yusuf, SE, MBA is committed to being the pride of Lampung.

Based on Webometrics released in January 2022, Universitas Teknokrat Indonesia is now ranked number 1 for private universities (PTS) in Sumatra. Previously, the Technocrat University was in the 3rd position of private universities in Sumatra. Meanwhile, at the national PTN/PTS level, the Universitas Teknokrat Indonesia occupies the 60th position.

This is an increase in ranking from previously being in the 85th position of the best PTN/PTS in Indonesia. With the increase in the position of the Universitas Teknokrat Indonesia in rank 60 PTN/PTS, on the national PTS ranking, the Universitas Teknokrat Indonesia ranked 19th.

This ranking is based on the criteria for the impact of website content (50%), the number of researcher citations (10%), scientific papers published in reputable journals (40%).

Vice Chancellor of the Universitas Teknokrat Indonesia Dr. H. Mahathir Muhammad, SE, MM, said he was grateful for this achievement.

Mahathir emphasized that the Universitas Teknokrat Indonesia was ranked the best number 1 private university in Sumatera and was ranked 60th in Indonesia according to the Webometrics version which was released in January 2022.

Mahathir said that this success is the contribution and hard work of all the academicians of the Universitas Teknokrat Indonesia, from the Chair of the Technocrat Education Foundation to the spirit of the Rector of the Universitas Teknokrat Indonesia, Dr. Mahathir. HM. Nasrullah Yusuf, SE, MBA, in carrying out public trust in managing higher education institutions.

Mahathir continued, this can be seen from the results, where the Technocrat College, which recently changed its status to the Universitas Teknokrat Indonesia, has grown in size and quality.

Of course, the increase in the ranking of the Universitas Teknokrat Indonesia, said Mahathir, cannot be separated from the various student achievements in various competitions at the regional, national and international levels.

In addition, Mahathir is also happy because of the achievements of several lecturers in participating in activities and research.

“Again, we thank God for the improvement in the ranking of the Universitas Teknokrat Indonesia. All of this is due to the hard work and good cooperation of all academics.
